Course Reserves

Electronic Course Reserves

Electronic course reserves are accessed via the Library webpage.

In order to initiate a request for electronic materials to be placed on reserve, instructors should complete and submit a course page request at least three weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. Please note that submission indicates all materials comply with current copyright laws.

Once the page is created, instructors may submit bibliographies of articles, book chapters, PowerPoint ™ presentations or course syllabi to be added to the page. Instructors may also choose to add the documents to the page themselves.

Hard-Copy Course Reserves

Library/Faculty hard-copy reserves are available for checkout at the Circulation desk on the first floor of the Library. Items may be checked out for two hours use in the Library.

Course reserve items are available for one semester (or for the length of the course if the traditional semester plan is not followed). After each semester the items are removed from reserve and returned to the shelves or to the instructor who supplied the material. CORE and Reference items may not be placed on reserve.

Please provide lists of reserve items to the library and complete the copyright agreement form as early as possible to insure that the items are available in the Library and placed on reserve prior to the beginning of the semester. At least one week prior to the beginning of the semester is helpful.
