A New Library Research & Clinical Search Service

Would you like to save valuable time? Are you frustrated when trying to find articles on the topic you need? Let us do your literature searching for you. The Library's new Research & Clinical Search Service is free to all UAMS faculty and staff. Our professional searchers are trained in expert search techniques and have in-depth knowledge of the scope, coverage, and strategy requirements for each database. We can provide free literature searches for:

  • Patient-Care
  • Research
  • Grant Preparation / AUPs
  • Teaching
  • Publication
  • Presentations/Conferences

We are also available for one-on-one database training and consultations on setting up AutoAlerts, using other specialized database features, and assisting in constructing end-user search strategies.

Requesting a search is painless... Just fill out the form at: https://www.library.uams.edu/forms/carsuams.asp (on the UAMS Library Online Forms page) or call Susan Steelman, MLIS - Coordinator of Research & Clinical Search Services at: 501-686-6737.

Average turn around time is 2-3 working days. Same day service is available for patient-care cases.
