Connie Wilson Joins The UAMS Library as
our newest Faculty member
The UAMS Library would like to welcome our newest faculty member, Connie Wilson. Connie comes to us after having spent the last 29 years in the AHEC Library at the AHEC North West in Fayetteville. We are already taking advantage of the experience and expertise that she is adding to our Reference team.
Connie’s Knowledge of reference materials has allowed her to hit the ground running. Already in her first week with us she has take the lead in reorganizing and judiciously weeding the Reference Collection. The categories into which the Reference Collection had previously been subdivided have now been eliminated. The Reference Collection has been reorganized to be filed strictly by National Library of Medicine call number,like the rest of the books in the Library. All patrons of the Library will notice the clean and well organized shelves; and if a regularly used book isn’t where you last remember it – please just ask about it at the Reference Desk.
You are invited to drop by the Reference Department, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., to meet Connie.
