Update Your Interlibrary Loan Information (Illiad)

With the implementation of charges on January 1, 2005 for interlibrary loans, ILLiad users need to update their accounts to reflect a method of payment and, when applicable, to include a department account number (IDT). When this information is provided in your ILLiad record, it allows us to process your request more quickly.

Instructions for Creating and Modifying ILLiad accounts:

If you are already registered on ILLiad go to http://www.library.uams.edu and click on Interlibrary Loan services. This will take you to the logon screen for ILLiad.

1. Log on using your ILLiad username and password. This will take you to the main menu of your account.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the “Edit User Account” button. This will take you to the current account screen.
3. If you don’t have an account listed scroll to the bottom of the screen and you will see a box with the title “Add Account”. This is where you need to enter your account information. Once you have entered everything click on the button to your right marked “Add Account”.

To edit/delete an account on ILLiad:

Follow steps 1-3 above.

1. If you want to edit the account number you have listed you will need to scroll to the bottom of the screen where you will see a box with the title “Add Account”. Put your new information in this box. Then click the button to your right with the title, “Add Account”.
2. This will take you back to the top of the screen. You will see your old account information and your new account information. If you don’t want to keep your old account information just click on the button to your far right titled “Remove”. This will remove your old account number.

LIBRARY’S ANNUAL BOOK SALE – March 10, 2005

The Library will hold its annual used book sale on Thursday, March 10 th, in the lobby of the Education II Building, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Included in the sale will be books removed from our collection and books and other items received as gifts. We’ll have a small group of “recreational” books as well as the health sciences books. Most books will sell for $1.00 and the proceeds will be used to support the Library. If you have books you’d like to donate for the sale, please contact Mary Hawks, hawksmarys@uams.edu.
