What is Reference Express?
Reference Express is a new instruction/help service. Essentially, this service brings the reference desk to you.

How does this work?
Each Reference Express session is informal. Each is held in conjunction with meetings or journal clubs that are already scheduled. Reference librarians will come to your meeting room area before the meeting and answer individual questions ('How do I find an article in our electronic journals?') or show the newest library resources.

What technology is needed?
Electrical outlets and an Internet connection, which might be in the conference room or outside in a hallway.

Has it been done before?
The first session of Reference Express was held a couple of months ago for Internal Medicine Grand Rounds and was very popular.

PubMed Class Schedule

Please note that free PubMed classes are being offered each month. These classes are open to any practicing health care professional in Arkansas. Note: On-site classes are available for any Arkansas hospital or clinic where 4 or more health professionals are registered to attend.

Used Book Sale

The UAMS Library held its annual used book sale on March 7th, 2003. Many people came and bought, and helped support the UAMS Library.
