The UAMS Library's Annual Book Sale

Come find a treasure!

The UAMS Library will hold its annual used book sale on Friday, March 7th, 2003, in the lobby of the ED II Building, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Items to be sold include books removed from our collection and some non-medical books as well.

Most books will sell for $1.00 and the proceeds will be used to support the Library.

Third Annual
History Of Medicine Associates'
Lecture Series

The third lecture in the History of Medicine Associates' series on the History of the Medical Sciences will be at 4:00 PM on April 17, 2003, in the Pauly Auditorium (G219) in Ed III.

Dr. Thomas E. Andreoli will present the lecture. Dr. Andreoli is the current holder of the Nolan Chair in Internal Medicine in the UAMS College of Medicine. He is Professor of Internal Medicine and Professor of Physiology and Biophysics. He will discuss the evolution of medical schools.

PubMed Class Schedule

Please note that free PubMed classes are being offered
each month. These classes are open to any practicing
health care professional in Arkansas. If you would like to
register for one of these classes or schedule an individual,

Note: On-site classes are available for any Arkansas hospital or clinic where 4 or more health professionals are registered to attend.
