The UAMS Library's Annual Book Sale
The UAMS Library will hold its annual used book sale on Friday, March 7th, 2003, in the lobby of the ED II Building, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Items to be sold include books removed from our collection and some non-medical books as well. Most books will sell for $1.00 and the proceeds will be used to support the Library. If you have books you'd like to donate for the sale,

Third Annual The third lecture in the History of Medicine Associates' series on the History of the Medical Sciences will be at 4:00 PM on April 17, 2003, in the Pauly Auditorium (G219) in Ed III. Dr. Thomas E. Andreoli will present the lecture. Dr. Andreoli is the current holder of the Nolan Chair in Internal Medicine in the UAMS College of Medicine. He is Professor of Internal Medicine and Professor of Physiology and Biophysics. He will discuss the evolution of medical schools. The Associates are a support group for the Historical
