Complementary and Alternative Medicine:
Implications for Clinical Practice and state-of-the-science Symposium
Alternative,
or complementary, health systems are being integrated into American culture.
From Chinese medicine to homeopathy to chiropractic, many features and
systems can now be found in American physicians' offices. We have a new
series of VHS tapes of a videoconference directed by David Eisenberg,
M.D., offered by Harvard Medical School Department of Continuing Education
and Center for Alternative Medicine Research and Education. These tapes
present lectures on the basic theory and practice of alternative therapies
commonly used in the United States. Includes demonstrations, epidemiologic
reviews, and discussion of cases involving alternative therapies. This
new 9-videotape series addresses the following topics:
