Library Budget Cuts

The UAMS Library's budget has been cut 8% ($200,000) during the past year. The following cuts have been made to accommodate this budget decrease:

Personnel (cut 3 full-time and 4 half-time positions)

• Associate Director position
• A reference librarian position
• Two Learning Resource Center positions
• Interlibrary Loan mail processor position
• Bindery assistant position
• Night reference position
