NEW LIBRARY EXHIBIT "VESALIANA at the UAMS Library" is the new exhibit
in the UAMS Library exhibit cases. The library is fortunate to own a
facsimile edition of the Fabrica of 1543 by Andreas Vesalius and a copy
of Icones Anatomicae published in 1934 from the original woodblocks
of the 1555 second edition of the Fabrica. These and other books about
Vesalius and his work are available for viewing at the UAMS Library
during regular hours through April 30. LIBRARY PEOPLE Information Services & Systems: Jana Allcock, formerly Coordinator, Access to Electronic Information in the Information Services & Systems division of UAMS Library, will become the Consumer Health Outreach Coordinator for the Regional Medical Library of the Southeast Atlantic Region of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine in Baltimore, MD in April. We will miss her, and wish her well. |
