EDWINA WALLS MANN TO RETIRE

Edwina Walls Mann will be retiring on June 30th after working in various positions at the UAMS Library since September of 1965. Edwina became the History of Medicine librarian in 1978, and since then she has established and developed the Historical Research Center (HRC) program, which includes the history of medicine collections and institutional archives.

Edwina is a hard-working and dedicated librarian who has done a remarkable job of establishing the HRC and developing it into a first-rate program. We appreciate her 35 years of dedicated service and will miss her talents and enthusiasm, but we wish her well in the many activities she has planned for the future. Recruitment for a new head of the HRC is currently underway.
