UAMS Library Statistical Profile - FY2010/2011
User Population
- Primary users are faculty,
staff, students, and clinicians in the Colleges of Public Health, Health
Related Professions, Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy, the Graduate School,
and the University Hospital
- Participates in the state's
Area Health Education Center (AHEC) program by serving the information
needs of nineteen cities in nine counties in central Arkansas and provides
backup support to the entire state of Arkansas
- Serves as the only resource
library in the state of Arkansas for the National Network of Libraries
of Medicine South Central Region
