Pocket PC at a Discounted Price: HP iPAQ 2790 for $360

Carry clinical resources around in your pocket! Discounted pricing of the HP iPAQ 2790 for any UAMS faculty, students, and staff has been negotiated by the Informatics Subcommittee of the College of Medicine Curriculum Committee and the Library.  The Committee and Library staff investigated several PDA models and their pricing, and determined that the iPAQ 2790 is currently the best value for a very nice Pocket PC in the health sciences environment; IT has verified that the iPAQ 2790 Web browser works with the Sunrise System.  HP discounted the price significantly to $360 ($415 for the iPAQ 2790 with 3-year warranty with next business day replacement).  This purchase is not taxed, and there are no shipping charges.

To Purchase:

• Come by the Library's Circulation Desk from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., M-F, to reserve your HP iPAQ 2790.
• Bring your UAMS badge with you. 
• Orders will be placed every two weeks.
• Payment of $360.00 is due when you place your order. Checks, IDTs, and credit cards are accepted for payment, no cash, please.
