The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Library
Access Grid (AG) Conference Facility, sponsored by the Arkansas Biomedical
Research Infrastructure Network (AR
BRIN), is one of the many nodes on the Access Grid and one of three
Access Grid conference facilities in the state of Arkansas, the other
Access Grids located at UALR and U of A Fayetteville, the College of Public Health Building at UAMS and ASU Jonesboro.
We recently upgraded to the inSORS suite of video collaboration software. inSORS is the first collaboration software company to integrate high performance multiple data and video windows with high performance audio. The inSORS Grid platform provides individuals and groups the ability to meet via video and audio modes of interaction, data collaboration, and/or desktop toolsets in our facility while leveraging existing (no cost) Internet 2 bandwidth.

Location:
These instructions assume that you are turning north on Pine St.
coming from Interstate 630. When on Pine St. proceed north to the first
stop light which is at West Markham. Turn left on W. Markham and proceed
to the second stop light which is Hooper Dr. Turn left onto Hooper
Dr. Drive up the hill, passing one paved road coming in at your left.
Continue up the hill, passing the Education II building on your left
which contains the UAMS Library. Turn left at the crest of the hill
onto Campus Drive. You are now driving past the entrance to the Library
inside the building on your left. Just over the crest of the hill you
will reach the entry to the top level of the parking deck which provides
public parking for a fee. Park here and walk back up to the top of
the hill and enter the UAMS Library from the south end of the Education
II building (the end furthest from W. Markham).
The UAMS Access Grid Library Conference Facility is located on
the third floor, room 3/110.
