UAMS Library Liaison Program

The Library Liaison Program was established to foster partnerships between the Library and the research, educational, clinical, and outreach programs at UAMS. Members of the UAMS community are encouraged to contact their UAMS College and Department Liaison with any questions about information resources, services, training opportunities, and technology facilities. If you would like to establish a Liaison partnership, please contact Abby Holt, 501-686-6748.

Library liaisons can arrange the following services:

• Updates on new resources and services
• Advanced literature searching by expert searchers
• Consultations and specialized search strategy development
• Library orientations, tours, presentations, and training
• Integrate research and information management skills into the curriculum
• Collaborative participation in evaluating resources
• Tailored library services
• Introductions to the Access Grid facilities, Teaching Resource Center, and Learning Resource Center
• Assistance with copyright and fair use questions
